John Vigiano Jr. was a firefighter and his brother Joe was a police detective. On September 11, 2001, both Vigiano brothers responded to the call from the World Trade Center, and both were killed while saving others.

I did this piece recently for an auction benefiting Sick Kids coming up in Toronto, launching this Thursday, May 5th, 2011. This is the second auction I’ve participated in. The first being The Namuwongo Project back in June.

The people at Roma Molding contacted me a few months back, as they’re hoping to raise $25,000 for Sick Kids hospital.

Its called ‘ROSES’,   acrylic, oil and aerosol on canvas (24 x 30 inches). So if you like the piece, get your bid on and help raise $25,000.

One of our first commissions freshly out of school was the Feathertale Review.

Its pretty sick that after four years we reconvene with the review.

For all of you that aren’t familiar with publication terminology, when they say “ENDPAPER ARTWORK”,

they are referring to the images that are printed on both cover and back page… so quite literally in this case Oleg has my back.
